Rotawell Privacy Policy

Rotawell ("the app") is built privacy-first. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.

What we collect

Nothing. Rotawell does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you create — your shifts and rota, sleep logs, energy check-ins, preferences and plans — is stored only on your device. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server. We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Apple Health

If you choose to connect Apple Health, Rotawell requests read-only access to your sleep data so it can fill in your sleep log for you. This data is read on your device and used only inside the app to show your trends and insights. Rotawell never writes to Apple Health, never transmits your health data off the device, and never shares it with anyone. You can revoke this access at any time in the iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.

Notifications

Plan reminders (sleep, nap, caffeine cutoff, meals, movement) are scheduled as local notifications on your device. No push server is involved and nothing about your schedule leaves your phone.

Purchases

Rotawell Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription and as a one-time "Lifetime" purchase. All purchases are processed by the Apple App Store. Rotawell never sees or stores your payment information; the entire transaction is handled by Apple.

Your data, exported by you

Pro features let you generate a PDF report or export your data as CSV so you can share it with a clinician or your employer's occupational-health team. These files are created on your device and are shared only when you choose to share them. We never receive a copy.

Deleting your data

Because all data lives on your device, deleting the app permanently and completely removes all of your data.

Children's privacy

Rotawell is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
